Itinerary description
This is a nice, not too difficult trail that mixes both off-road and small back-country roads in the west of Luxembourg city. Technically not demanding, but not for beginners. Point of departure is a parking between Strassen and Bridel (Luxembourg). Around 47 km. Castle (private, Simmern) and Roman ruins (near Goebelange) to be visited). Runs best counter-clockwise.

Dear Ferdy, We rode your track yesterday with my 2 friends, and we would like to thank and congratulate you for the good and funny tracks you have been provided on the net! Just a remark that we want to share: after the 47 km, I analysed on my garmin 605 the accumulated raise and it was 1715 m instead of 726 m you indicate... Our feeling is that it's more than 726 m. Nevertheless, this track is really good, to be ridden if you like Luxembourg woods and its magic forests. JlOOZ
Are you able to download to Garmin 500? I keep getting error messages.
nb. I've just moved to Lux and am looking to find paths so this is really great.
Hi
I believe you should install the "Garmin Training Center" software.
The appropriate file format is ".tcx".
Cheers
Ferdy
Great, ok, that seemed to work. Do I drag it onto "courses" in the Garmin and use it from there? Sorry for all the questions.
I cannot tell you, I'm not using the Edge 500!
Great route! FYI, there were a lot of downed trees on the route (last rode it on 16 August 2013). Be prepared to hike-a-bike to get around the trees! As always, Ferd, fantastic route!
Great cross country style route. Rode this another time today. Still a lot of down trees blocking several parts of the trail. Some parts of the trail are also mangled/torn up by logging tractors. Overall, great route (as always Ferdy!).
Thx!

Moderate
Certains chemins sont complètement envahis par des ronces et des orties.
Le peu de points GPS font que certaines bifurcations sont difficiles à jaugées, j'ai du faire plusieurs demi-tour.
Dernier tiers très roulant pour finir en douceur.
