Itinerary description
The path in the middle leads from Dyodani to Porcupine Point, the most popular way to Matheran.
The southern path avoids to pass by Dyodani and is a more convenient path leading to the previous track and also allows to reach Matheran via Chinc Wadi and Hashyachy Patti villages.
With the third path I tried to reach Peb Fort and from there the railway but I don't even know if it's possible to climb the mountain in that point.
Between the second and the third part there is the path reaching Matheran Monkey Point.
My track is what I could do on/pushing the bike.

There are a couple of trails from Maldunge which climb up to Peb fort. First one is via the col between Nakhind and Peb and the other one joins the ridge midway between the cave and col. Did you come across any local guy who said there's a path that climbs up to Peb from the last point on your third path? Cos even I haven't heard of any that climbs straight up to the col between Peb and Matheran.
No, I did not. I was hoping to find it because it is the shorter way but I dont think it does exist. I will try the ones you mention. Thanks.
Hi Steve, yes there is a way up the Peb-Matheran Col. It has been mapped in a recently published book on Matheran called "Matheran- A Mountaineering Manual" by Dr. Mehta, Ms.Mahajan and Mrs. Mehta.
