Bohinjsko Jezero is a great lake and one of the most important and beautiful tourist attractions in Slovenia. I would recommend to everyone that there might be a few days left in the area for hiking, cycling or relaxing and bathing in the lake. A great place for families with or without children for nature and the variety of activities it offers.
The ascent to Pokljuka is to see the bottom ski resort of Rudno Polje, where tests of the biathlon world championship are played and then go down for Goreljek, admiring corprened landscapes dotted with small huts and meadows Postcard that will take you a few oooooooohhhhh although you try to avoid it.
The climb is done all along the forest track and from Rudno Polje the track enters the asphalt that almost monopolizes the entire descent. If you want you can follow the route in reverse but I already notice that the slope will increase in this way. There is also the possibility of studying the paths around Rudno Polje that communicate small shelters between them in order to remove asphalt in the descent section.
