Itinerary description
Dry Creek- East Armuchee
Spent the day exploring the Dry Creek trails in Armuchee. The ridge and valley landscape makes for some great riding. Lots of gentle ups and downs, not too technical, but there are some sections with lots of cobblestone size rocks in the trail that can be tricky. Download a map before you get there as there is no cell service. The trails are marked with numbers like 239 and 245. On a mid July Saturday, I didn't see another person on the trail. The creek crossings we nice in the heat, but would be challenging in cold weather. Some were only ankle deep and ridable, others were too deep with a sandy bottom.
