Itinerary description

Route that goes from the Dead Sea once past the hotel zone and just at the detour to Madaba, up by road to the Hot Springs area and its expensive Ma'in Hot Spa hotel with the famous natural thermal water falls. We will be climbing for approximately 18km, about 2 km from the hotel, enjoy a descent as few have seen and then another 3-4 km of hard climb to see the Dead Sea in front. At this point we only have to worry about the views and not get out of the way. Although the whole route is by "road" in some points the state of the asphalt is quite bad so I recommend using mountain bike. The catalog is difficult because it really becomes hard after climbing a total of almost three hours per slope of 10%. Not suitable for "Sunday".

Hola Javier; vaya super ruta! Veo que bajaste por donde pone "Punto 0 mt. sobre el nivel del mar"; "-50 mt." etc. Tengo mis sospechas que los carteles son falsos y que el nivel del mar están mucho más abajo. Quise volver para comprobarlo y en su caso quemar los carteles o hacer una pintada; porque todo el personal se baja para hacerse la foto... Salam, que vaya bien!
Hola Carlos, si coincido totalmente con tu comentario, creo que no es para nada real el dato de la altitud, pero ya sabes como son las cosas por aquí... La ruta es impresionante, y eso que la hicimos con algo de nubes y viento, pero en pocos días, con la primavera más encima, esta ruta es para repetirla con una buena cámara de fotos y un buen desayuno en el camelback ;). Qué tal todo por sudamérica? Ya he visto que has empezado a colgar algunas rutas. Bueno, te mando un fuerte abrazo y estamso en contacto. Cuidaros mucho.
