Itinerary description
This is a medium tour from Apsiou village (20km North of Limassol) to Kakomallis Mountain (1000m above sea level) and back to Apsiou. It offers stunning views across the island, to Limassol and the Salt Lake.

Equipment: Hard tail or full-suspension CC mountain bike.
Technical skills: Medium. Mostly unpaved fire tracks, a few rocky climbs.
Physical fitness: Medium. If you like to avoid steep uphill climbs, start at the end and do the tour in counter-clockwise direction.
Things to bring: Helmet, sunblock, 2 liters of water, 2 bananas or energy bars. There is a well (see waypoint), but I'm not sure if the water is suitable for drinking.
Points of interest: Fire watchout on Kakomallis Mountain with a stunning view across the mountains and to the coast +++ Panagia Amirou Monastery +++ Picturesque gorge with a creek and frog pools (see picture and waypoint).
Note: Avoid forest fires. Please don't smoke in the forest, and don't throw away bottles or garbage.

Very nice track I tried it today clockwise and some uphills are very difficult (I was pushing my bike) so I consider the track as difficult
