Itinerary description
Cycling - Morning ride up to Faro della Vittoria (Victory Beacon). Visible at night from a great distance with a blue-ish light, the beacon is held by a bronze statue in the shape of a winged lady. 18.5 m (60.7 ft) tall and 25 Ton of weight, it's perched at 715 m (2,345 ft) of elevation which is the highest point of Torino's hill. Remembrance Park is a peaceful shaded place that commemorates the casualties of WWI.
Note: sign says no access to bicycles
in Parco della Rimembranza but GOING UP at human pace speed is generally tolerated during weekdays unless at peak hours. GOING DOWN is not only at risk of being fined but also dangerous to pedestrians and dogs. I normally go up inside the park and down via the shared road as shown in this track.
