Itinerary description
Cycling - From Bled up and through the Pokljuka Plateau and around Lake Bohinj.
Mostly on paved road with scarce traffic and a section of forest road through pinetree woods.
Fast descent to Lake Bohinj and loop around it which requires some portage while approaching the lake's western tip. Plenty of people on a Saturday. I visited many years ago and it was almost deserted, sign that tourism has increased since.
Very hot day.
