Itinerary description
Cycling - 70 Km round trip along the Stura di Lanzo river. This track unfolds on secondary roads as an officially "suggested" cycling route according to posted bike signs. There is also a reported parallel route to the north which would make it a nice loop rather than taking the same way back, but I didn't explore it due to time constraint for the day.
Pavement is rough in some areas and not the best for road bikes, reason why I classify the route as "Mountain Biking" although certainly feasible with any type of bike.
Although not included in this track, the Devil's Bridge (Ponte del Diavolo) was built in XV century. Landmark of Lanzo, the small park around it offers pic-nic spots and a quiet rest. See my other dedicated track.
