Itinerary description

Cycling - MTB loop on the Assietta Road (Strada dell'Assietta).
Total climb 1,620 m (5,300 ft).
First 7 Km of the climb, and last 16 Km of the descent, are on decently paved road. The rest unfolds on an old military unpaved road, rough at times, which is open yearly from mid-June to end of October due to snow at high elevation. Access to motor vehicles is banned on Wednesdays and Saturdays during the months of July and August.

Rated "difficult" for the total elevation gain is suitable to trained cyclists, otherwise no technical difficulties either uphill or downhill.
