Itinerary description

A relatively easy route from Černihiv to the nearby town of Sedniv, which has preserved some 17-20 ct. heritage, including an mansion amid a park and several old churches. Situated on a high bank of the river Snov, this place also offers some good viewpoints on the river valley.
The road to Sedniv is generally very good and fast, allowing for a 1 hour ride. In 20km to the north of Sedniv there is another historical village of Tupyčiv (Тупичів), where a linden-tree park is the only remnant of a mansion that once existed here. The road there is mainly an asphalt one of rather good quality, and there is also a quite comfortable interval of a dirt road. The only problematic part is the stone road around the village of Ivaškivka (Івашківка), but it's rather short.
25 km to the west of Tupyčiv situates a railroad with a direct connection to Černihiv, and the road there is also okay.
