Itinerary description
J-55 gets pretty rough past Romeral or so. Mountain bike recomended. I did it with a road bike with the biggest tires it could handle. J-25 on the north side of the river is better, but still not smooth pavement for the whole distance. I did it with a road bike with skinny tires and it was not so bad. Plan to go swimming in the river at Los Quenes. You can camp at the camp site on the north side of the river west of Los Quenes. There is a pool to swim in, a light at most or all camp sites, toilets, and showers (not sure how to make the hot water work, but I bet you can figure it out). My shower after biking back from the Banos at San Pedro (near the Argentina border) was very cold!
