Given I did most part of your trail (but starting from Ierapetra), I am a bit surprised you labeled it moderate because for me it was difficult, especially because when reaching the first col above Melisses I realized there was another valley to descend into before ascending next col to Thripti and hardly any shade to provide shelter.
