Itinerary description
A circular route that is recommended by the local mountain biking group.
The ascent up the asphalt road is brutal enough; with gradients so steep I worried I would snap the chain. I was riding a mountain bike with a 50 tooth SRAM eagle cassette and this still seemed too high!
The gravel military road is very and almost impossible to ride in places. Yet it is worth the effort as you soon reach the colle above the clouds. The descent in to the next valley on a sunny autumn day was magical.
The descent from the high plateau back to the valley is a true rollercoaster of a ride. Enjoy
