Itinerary description
In a cloudy refreshing day of august i decided to ride my bike and eat a delicious gelato!!! The first 15 kms were quite boring, all flat and not much to see, after that some romans remainings, some nice plantations and a fresh breeze was making my senses feeling good.
The uphill to Lanuvio is steep enough to make me have a nice Gelato in the gelateria where i was the previous time, simply delicious, after this quick stop the way down started through a panoramic road, pointing Aprilia where i decided to skip due to traffic and i changed my route to secondary roads out of vehicles pollution.
The roads are not well maintained, many holes and cracks seems ok for this area, i was with my mountain bike which absorb bumps, i woudn't go with a rigid road bike.
I met many more cyclists around Lanuvio, they literally use that hill area as a training area!!! :)
