Cochran Mill Red Trail near Atlanta Georgia Aug 2019 filtered to 500 points
Great trail. From the parking lot (pay 5 USD ok with card) this trail takes couple smaller trails before it merges into RED trail.
some 13kms in total. If you add the YELLOW trail after this one it would all add up to 20kms +.
RED trail is tough. Technical. Some walk-the-bikes mostly rocks. Roots, and some crossings to be careful with. Also some flowy sections over the dump; some ramps but nothing crazy. Nice creek and falls surroundings.
Very strict 'ride on dirt not mud' so this trail can be easily closed when it has rained the day before. One could always go and ride DIRTY SHEETS gravel tracks also departing from the same parking lot.
No week day direction so attention to riders coming down or on the flat flow parts.
Good signals. Great track not far from ATL metro.
