Itinerary description
Near Prague. Loop start and finish in Beroun. To Beroun you can catch a train from Prague. Easy going track around 35kms mostly by the river Berounka. The "uphill" starts in Nizbor and goes on for a few kms, maybe 5kms. Can be tough. Then at the top you'll have many kms down hill deep in woods. At Nizbor, if you prefer to take the kms uphill through the forest then you'd go straight. If you prefer to do the uphill on road and down hill in forest, you follow the track points. Your choice.
This track goes out Beroun crossing the Berounka, then you have a number of kms on a road with traffic. This part of the track doesnt add anything really... so if you want to avoid that you can start the track as it fnishes all the way to Nizbor.
Not a track for "great adventure" but can be tough on the uphills and technical enough to have fun on the downhills. I originally took the track from RAFAELGPS, thank you for this one Rafael!
We did this June 2014.... did not stop raining for a minute... when in Beroun... if it looks bit cloudy.... not much thinking to do : ) water is coming down...
