Itinerary description
This is a beautiful trail through the Chouf Biosphere Reserve. The views through the cedars are beautiful and on the the way back once you get to the top there are amazing view of the Bekka valley. Since this trip was more about logging mileage and vertical ascent I opted not to take as many pictures as I usually do. If someone is interested is seeing more pictures I have another trail logged with the same name but without the 2 extensions.
I first went through Barouk to Maassar to where the television antenna is located.
My first extension was a trail that takes you to the asphalt road on the side of the Bekka Valley (which you can take to go to the cedars of Maassar).
My second extension was heading up a mountain before the final downhill back to my car. There was only one short section on that extension where I didn’t get enough traction and i had to push my bike about 40-50 meters.
