Itinerary description
This was a great ride with some steep hills, muddy tracks and some specatcular scenary. Being relativley new to the sport I found some of the area technically challenging but nonetheless a great experience. One or 2 of the hill climbs where a bit of a "lick out" but again a great feeling once at the top. There are plenty of photograph opportunities. You will also need to be aware of the large number of pedestrian gates you have to negotiate which breaks your stride but occasionally a short 1 or 2 minute welcomed break between slogging it out. I considered this one of the best rides I have done to date and would reccommed the main part of the route starting at Wallsuchs Lane just across the road from the pub called Ye Jolly Crofters.
