Itinerary description
A bike ride along the Cataraqui Trail from Sydenham to Strathcona and back. Not bad for a rail trail, flat and straight but a few nice sights along the way. More farmland and communities on the west side of Sydenham (vs the section east of Sydenham) as well as fewer lakes and streams. It does parallel the Napanee river for a stretch but not many views or water access. The bridge over the river in Yarker does give you a nice view in both directions.
Small wildlife were around, trail was in decent shape, there is signage and some mileage markers too. Parking is available at the start/finish.
