After Bled we are going to enter the PN of Triglav ... when you thought you had seen amazing things in Slovenia, this PN arrives to take your hiccups. We will pass through the National Park, climb the Vrsic Pass (1611 meters the highest Slovenian road) and descend along the Soca River, one of the most beautiful rivers I have ever seen. I tell you that you will not be able to stop photographing it.
On the road to the Triglav NP I found a Slovenian couple on their Saturday mtb route, they told me they were going to a waterfall not far from where my route was going, so ... I joined them and from Mostrjana we went to Slap Pericnik, a beautiful and brutal waterfall that breaks with fury against the ground and makes the air wet and cool when you get close (the bathroom is not possible). I climbed a bit more along the valley road to have a panoramic view of the famous Triglav, the highest mountain in Slovenia.
After this the road is gradually going up to Kranjska Gora, but the climb really starts a few kilometers later ...
The climb to Vrsic (1611 mts) I did a stretch by MTB, that stretch is hard, but it gets you more into the heart of the valley and there are some impressive views, I recommend it very much to anyone who looks strong, it's hard of cycling as it has stretches of stone suentas (and more with saddlebags), but it is from these parts of the route that it is worth the hardness of each pedalada.
After the track gets on the road there by the third curve of the 24 horseshoe-paved curves that accompany you to the top.
This port is a delight both in its part of MTB and in its part on the road.
From the top the panoramas are amazing, and when going down we will run into the Soca river ... which I can not stop repeating ... you will never want to separate!
