Nice route that starts from the Petrol distributor before Neblo. Head towards Vedrignano and to reach the town the climb becomes challenging with even 18%.
We cross the road to the Korada and after a few kilometers we turn right towards Mt. Sabotino. Go up in the media and a nice stretch of single track in the woods. At a certain point the paved road is resumed until you reach the refuge-museum, which I found closed. Wanting to leave the bike and enter the various tunnels dug in the First World War. Having read and having documented the various battles and the bloodshed that cost for the conquest of the Sabotinus, I leave you to imagine the emotion I feel every time I return to these rocks and the trenches. We go back down and on the hairpin bend we take the dirt road that leads us to the complex of the church of San Valentino which is located on the summit of the same name on the ridge of the Sabotino. Short stretch of unpaved dirt road even with slopes of 15%, but it's worth it. The church was built as a place of pilgrimage at the end of the 14th century and presents later alterations. We can visit the remains, straddling the two Italian and Slovenian borders. Steep descent on asphalt to the village of San Mauro to arrive on a dirt road that passes next to a beautiful villa with cellar to the beautiful path that after about ten kilometers leads us to Plave along the railway and the turquoise Isonzo. From Plave after the train station we take the fairly demanding climb of about 8 kilometers to the Korada. Ascent that in the initial part and in the final one is asphalted, while in the wood it is beautiful wide with a fairly homogeneous bottom. Slopes between 9 and 15%. Arriving on the main road I found myself completely blocked for a rally. I did a stretch of lawn to rejoin the dirt road that comes from Golo Brdo. Road that I did several times uphill Once I reached the asphalt I turned left towards Dobrovo and a nice wide paved road allowed me to return to the distributor.
