Itinerary description

This is a 40 km very scenic return ride to the beginning of the Enipeas’ walks, which start at Litochoro. [http://www.wikiloc.com/wikiloc/view.do?id=273806 for example]
It will end up being always a day of endurance and the two (ride and walk) together will challenge even the fittest.
Is it worth while? You bet it is.
Start at the end of Ano Skotina's lower road and follow the way North.
You will have to negotiate three small canyons on your way to Litochoro but there are always ways to the other side, as the all roads are used by the locals. Beware after heavy downfall as water levels, while most of the year is practically zero, can rise very fast.
Do this trip early in the morning, as you want to be at Litochoro no later than 10:00 am.
If you plan to have a break consider that a heavy stomach and 1000 m accent do not go well together
You will needs lots of water on the way to Prionia and on your way back to Ano Skotina.
You may consider stopping at Skotina on the way back for refreshments.
Do not forget to publish your photos.

Enjoy
