Itinerary description
Biking trail description
This trail is located in Syunik province and it starts from Akner village. It passes through Sev lakes and near Ishkhanasar, then arrives in Goris town, one of the beautiful towns of Armenia with unique architectural style.
Monuments description
Sev lakes situated on the slopes of the Mount Great Ishkhanasar 2666 m above the sea level. It is formed of seasonal precipitations․
Flora
The most mountainous province of Armenia is Syunik. The most well-known sanctuary of the region - Shikahogh is also situated in this province. The former is rich with unique endemic species and animals.
Fauna
The habitants in Syunik meet in the forests bears, rabbits, wild boars, panthers very often. In the mountainous parts are flying white eagles (included in the Red Book of Armenia) and griffons.
Safety and Security
All mobile connections functions with some interruptions. In case of emergency, call 911 or 112. Be aware of leashed-off dogs in the villages.
