Itinerary description
Short tour from Äkäslompolo village up the mountain for a stop at the hut where there is a fire and you can grill your own sausages !
We followed some very fun bike trails, curvy and flowy, loads of fun, then hopped onto a wide cross-country ski trail to get to the hut. You can also take the bike trail that goes along the cross-country one, but it was more of a snowshoeing trail when we were there, the snow wasn’t hard enough so the bike was getting stuck.
Going down on the cross-country track was super fast, then merging again onto mountain biking trail that is curvy and flowy again, before finishing on the lake and back to the village.
