Itinerary description
This route starts in Afiartis and follows agricultural roads on quite a steep incline almost all the way to Menetes. There are great views over the southern part of Karpathos. The route then changes direction and heads towards Arkasa, where you enter the village after trave
ling through its outer lying agricultural area, here there are great views over Kasos and if the time is right you get to see the most spectacular sunsets. The route then takes you through the narrow streets of Arkasa and onto the coastal road all the way back to Afiartis. The last 15km are very flat and you cycle along the coast enjoying the beautiful sights and smells of the sea and nature.
