Starting at Surveyor’s Ridge/Dog River’s Southern Trailhead, which can be found on Google Maps by looking up Clinger Campground. There is a 5 miles climb up Lookout Mountain Forest road to connect to Eight Mile Creek / Fivemile Butte / Knebal Springs trails to loop back to the trailhead
