Itinerary description
After extended shopping and an unneeded flat tire we get off late. The weather looks quite cloudy but improves during the day. We slowly climb to about 3800 m with stunning views to our left. The agricultural patterns are just mind blowing.
We resupply our beverages in Quishuar where we have a nice talk with an adolescent and his father. The road ahead is passably by foot and by bicycle but not by vehicle. That becomes more clear within minutes, several landslides have covered the road on the section to Chupan; but this is no issue for us. Every hurdle can be passed.
Behind Chupan an other path section follows, well maintained and with beautyful views. The 8 km long section to Callo has some ups and downs and takes a lot of time. It is getting late today. We can watch Chana to the left above us loosing the last sun light. It is dark as we reach this small village. Guided by a friendly woman, wondering about what we do in this poor location, we easily find a hospedaje.
