Itinerary description
At this day the plan was to go up to the glacier, at least as far as possible. But my wife had some stomach issues so I started alone. Just before the junction to Pastoruri a passed by a man washing his car, obviously a taxi. We negotiated a price to bring me and my bike to the glacier.
There are some attractions where we shortly paused. So i got the opportunities for photo shootings.
From the parking area a paved foodway leads to the glacier. It is ridable but quite steep so you need to breath carefully.
After my visit of the glacier I went down to follow the road to Yanashallash a few kilometres. The views are definitively worth the effort.
