Itinerary description
Our first trip from our temporary home base in Catac leads to the rock garden of Hatun Machay. Some kilometres up the not too busy PE-N3 then right uphill on a quiet unpaved road leads to a 4500 m pass. From here we rolled down to Hatun Machay.
The rock garden can be explored with the bike; the rock surface provides an excellent grip.
