2014-08-24-mtb-carona-discesa notturna da carisole

Una bella escursione nella val Carisole sopra Carona tra paesaggi stupendi e marmotte fischianti. l'obiettivo e' pero' la discesa in notturna sul sentiero che scende a Carona e che e' stato appositamente livellato per le MTB. Si Sale in seggiovia a quota 1700 e si gira nella vallata fino al rifugio Mirtillo a circa 2000 mt., cosi', tanto per stuzzicare l'appetito. Quindi giu' al rifugio Terre Rosse dove, al caldo della stufa accesa gia' il 24 di agosto, ci attende un ottima cena con apertivo, primo, secondo, dolce e caffe' (tutto con la solita' alta qualita' del luogo). Con il buio delle 9:30 siamo pronti a scendere. Accesi i frontalini, Quad davanti che apre la pista e i maestri MTB della Val Brembana in testa e coda. Si scende attraverso i boschi fino a Carona. Bella esperienza grazie anche all'ottima compagnia dei compagni di traccia.

An amazing tour in the Carisole valley, above Carona with beautiful landscapes and whistling marmots. However, the objective is the nightly descend on the way down to Carona. This path has been specially leveled for the the MTB. We chairlift at 1700 and cycled in the valley for an hour an half looking the landscapes and taking pictures 'till to the shelter "Mirtillo" at approximately 2000 meters., just to whet your appetite and down to the shelter Terre Rosse. Here the stove was already on at August 24th!, we had a great dinner with aperitif, first and second course, dessert and coffee, all with the usual high quality of this place. With the dark at about 9:30 are ready to get off. Lights turned on, Quad Wheels in front to opens the track and the Val Brembana MTB School's masters at the head and tail of the "gang" we descended through the woods up to Carona. Great experience thanks to the excellent company of fellow track.
