Itinerary description
This is the 10km route of the bicycle portion of the triathlon. It must be ridden twice (2x10km=20km) during the event. The western section has a turn-around at the bottom of a steep grade hill. BEWARE of other bikers on this hill on race day.
It is recommended to use a mountain bike or cross bike, as they have larger tires for the unpaved section of Boulevard and pothole road below the Eisenmann statue at Tryp/Luna Rossa/ MiniSuper.
Road bikes with skinny smooth tires will be difficult to negotiate the gravel, sand and mud.
