Ruta 189. El páramo soriano

Este trayecto podría formar parte de las rutas entre Aragón y Castilla y León, pero se reduce a unos pocos kilómetros que se extienden en mitad de los campos de Soria, donde no abundan los tramos dignos de mención. Esta es una de las excepciones. La vía es excelente y resulta deliciosa, al abrirse paso sinuosamente entre una estepa dominada por piedra rojiza y una frondosa chopera de grandes ejemplares

Mi opinión

La ruta 189 no me pareció especialmente interesante salvo por el hecho de que coincidió con el atardecer, cuando tu sombra mide 25 metros y el sol luce sus últimos tonos rojos. De todos los pueblos de esta parte de Soria, destaco por su peculiaridad el pueblo de Morcuera, aunque queda fuera del trazado de esta ruta. Interesante también la escapada hasta Atienza, maravilloso monumento histórico de primer orden

Cabe reseñar el alto de La Carrascosa, un puerto de los de antaño, un viaje al pasado, con su asfalto original y estrecho. Se atraviesa un paisaje bastante desolador en un regreso al siglo pasado

Route 189. The Sorian wasteland

This route could be part of the routes between Aragón and Castilla y León, but it is reduced to a few kilometers that extend in the middle of the fields of Soria, where there are not many sections worthy of mention. This is one of the exceptions. The route is excellent and delightful, winding its way through a steppe dominated by reddish stone and a lush poplar grove of large specimens

My opinion

The route 189 did not seem particularly interesting to me except for the fact that it coincided with the sunset, when your shadow measures 25 meters and the sun shines its last red tones. Of all the villages in this part of Soria, the village of Morcuera stands out for its peculiarity, although it is outside the itinerary of this route. Also interesting is the trip to Atienza, a wonderful historical monument of first order

It is worth mentioning the Carrascosa hight, one pass of those of yesteryear, a trip to the past, with its original and narrow asphalt. It crosses a rather desolate landscape in a return to the last century
