Itinerary description
This trail takes you from Ramlia, after crossing the river, till Kasbah Maraboute, quite simply the best overnight place in Tafraoute. This is halfway to zagora. After the river the fez fez sand ends, and normal beach sand becomes the norm pretty much all the way to Tafraoute. The landscape is dramatic, beautiful and without a single human structure till Tafraoute. We did it on R1200GS's but we had our luggages transported to Kasbah Maraboute by a kind Spanish chap. For 100Dh you can get your bike crossed to the other side of the Rheris river by the Ramlia locals on an open-top Land Rover. We crossed in the beginning of October 2015 and the river had lots of water and mud.
