Itinerary description
Season: Jul-Sep only. Fly in and out of Leh airport. Srinagar airport is not far off but one way rental will probably not be possible.
Avoid AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) by sleeping as low as possible (usually around 3,500 m), and only driving up to passes during the days (up to 5,500 m).
Loop trail from Leh passing through:
- Wari La (167.9 km)
- Khardung La (323.2 km)
- Namika La (563.5 km)
- Singe La (1037.3 km)
- Sirsir La (1070.8 km)
