Itinerary description

Summer 2018, we took this road trip. one this day, everyone and their brother warned us about a huge thunderstorm approaching. We had to get off the dirt roads of the Oklahoma Adventure Trail and headed east asap. Oklahoma can get windy! Near near the wind farms of Seiling, Oklahoma we suffered though 20 mph cross winds. Saw plenty of trucks hauling silica sand for local fracking operations. The stop at the J. T. Nickel Family Nature and Wildlife Preserve was a pleasant surprise.They have lots of elk and deer. We'll visit here again.
*Oklahoma has a sad road side litter problem. :(
