STAGE 1 (CROATIA): Split - Krka National Park - Sibenik
Departure from Split (Split) towards Scardona (Skradin), on the E65 motorway. Visit to Scardona (Skradin) and the lower part of the Krka National Park.
From Scardona (Skradin) take the road n.56 and then continue on the n.33 up to Sibenik (Sibenik).
DURATION: 4H
STAGE 2 (CROATIA): Sibenik - Knin
Departure from Sibenik (Sibenik) on the road n.33 to Dernis (Drnis), from here a small detour is made to the Roski waterfalls (Roski Slap) which are always part of the Krka National Park.
From the waterfalls, go back to Dernis (Drnis) and continue, still on road 33, to Knin (Knin).
DURATION: 3H
STAGE 3 (CROATIA - BOSNIA HERZEGOVINA): Knin - Sarajevo
From Knin (Knin) you make a short stop at the Krcic waterfall (Krcic Slap), the highest in Croatia, and then take road n.1 to Kijevo (Croatia), skirting Mount Dinara. From here, take an unpaved road to Izvor Cetina.
Admired the source of the Cetina river, take road n.1 back to Signo (Sinj), and then continue on road n.60 to Treglia (Trilj), where you have to take road n.220 to the border with Bosnia Herzegovina .
After the border you are on the M6.1 road, but at the first crossroads you have to take the R417 which rejoins the M6.1 shortening the route.
Once in Tomislavgrad take the R419a towards Blidinje National Park (Park prirode Blidinje). In the park there are various sections of off-road vehicles that are not too demanding. Having admired Mount Cvrsnica, continue to Jablanica where we enter the E73 which will then become the A1 motorway up to Sarajevo.
DURATION: 5H / 6H
STAGE 5 (BOSNIA HERZEGOVINA): Sarajevo
Visit to the city of Sarajevo and its history marked by a war that is still alive in everyone's memories. I obviously recommend the Sarajevo Tunnel.
STAGE 6 (BOSNIA HERZEGOVINA): SARAJEVO - MOSTAR
From Sarajevo we take the M18 road to Dobro Polje where we turn onto the R433. This road continues until near Kifino Selo where we find the M6.1. I highly recommend the R433. It has many rough sections and is almost totally unpaved. Having rained the previous day, some passages were very demanding and to be able to move forward we had to get off the bike to lighten it and not risk getting stuck in the quagmire. However I can swear to you that the landscape is absolutely worth the crossing.
Once on the M6.1 continue to Gnojnice where you return again to the E73 to Mostar.
DURATION: 6H / 7H
STAGE 7 (BOSNIA HERZEGOVINA - CROATIA): Mostar - Dubrovnik
In the morning I recommend you spend it in the city center which is really a little gem, even if too touristy. In the afternoon we leave by taking the E73 to Poprati where we turn off for the M6 to Cvaljina. From here continue on the R428 thus entering Croatia. Reached the town of Slano, continue on road 8 to Ragusa (Dubrovnik).
DURATION: 5H
STAGE 8 (CROATIA - BOSNIA HERZEGOVINA - CROATIA): Dubrovnik - Omiš
As for Mostar, Ragusa (Dubrovnik) deserves a morning visit and as for Mostar the problem is the mass of tourists pouring into the streets.
From Ragusa (Dubrovnik) take road 8 to Omiš (Omis), passing through Neum (Bosnia Herzegovina).
DURATION: 4H
STAGE 9 (CROATIA): Omiš - Trogir
Omiš (Omis) is also worth a morning visit, perhaps more so than Ragusa (Dubrovnik).
From there continue along road 8 to Traù (Trogir).
Trogir (Trogir) is absolutely worth a visit, but in addition to cultural tourism I recommend you to visit the Otok Ciovo peninsula where there are uncrowded beach corners and truly exceptional sea.
DURATION: 2H
STAGE 10 (CROATIA): Trogir - Split
From Trogir (Trogir) we return to Split (Split) where in retrospect I regretted not having stayed one more night.
DURATION: 1H
