Itinerary description
Second day of our Himmelfahrt's Tour 2024 to the Apennine Mountains.
We started in Chiavenna. Unfortunately, San Marco Pass was still closed.
We took an alternative via Cassina Valsassina to come to the beautiful Val Brembilla.
To make the big distance to the south, we had to go by highway via Milan.
The next highlight was Bobbio, an inconspicuous town in the mountains.
We made the extra mile via Passo Penice.
We stayed for a sleepover at the hotel "Albergo Amici" in Varese Ligure, Italy (https://www.albergoamici.it/)
