To go from the archipelago of the Vesteralen islands to the Lofoten islands can be done by a ferry that connects Melbu with Fiskebol. This ferry crosses the beautiful Hadselfjord (Hadselfjorden) that separates the island of Hadseloya from the Lofoten. The journey is very short and easy and during the journey we will be able to admire the beautiful landscapes and mountains that surround the fjord such as Strona or Nonsfjellet. As soon as we leave the Melbu pier we have the Norks Fiskeindustrimuseum on our right and near the end, before entering the Fiskebol pier, we pass very close to the Kalvoya islet, with lots of birds.
