They pick us up very early to go directly to the dock.
We are lucky and we will travel by Bangca (typical Filipino boat, it looks like a spider)
We go out to sea to watch dolphins...we are lucky, our captain finds a large group and we follow them for a long time!!! A delight!!
Next stop in Balicasag.
This small island, located about 30-40 minutes from Panglao, is surrounded by one of the best reefs in the archipelago, home to dozens of sea turtles and many other species.
An almost perfect circle of only 600 meters in diameter, which can be covered in just 45 minutes walking.
It is not an uninhabited island. About 100 families live there, who are mainly dedicated to tourism and fishing.
Here we snorkel in a point on the island with corals and many fish and they transfer us to another point on the island to see turtles while we snorkel more....again we are successful and we see a few!
The name of the island means crab upside down :)
From here we headed to Virgin Island.
It is not really an island, but a long stretch of sand surrounded by crystal clear, turquoise sea water. It earned its name 'Virgin' because no one lives here.
There are hundreds of starfish.
