Tour of the interesting and wild East Alligator River, undoubtedly one of the liveliest rivers in northern Australia. We are in the extensive Kakadu National Park, famous for its important flora and fauna and especially for hosting some of the best examples of Aboriginal Rock Art in the whole country. At the end of the route, a stop is made to go up to a small rock that serves as a natural viewpoint over the river. You can also visit some cave paintings, although you do not stop to visit them (you can see them from a distance).
The river is full of large crocodiles so it is not very good idea to swim in it, or even walk along its banks (unless it is on upgraded platforms) as these bichillos do not walk with contemplation if they are hungry.
