In search of Probocsis Monkey
Saw a few hanging on tree but very far away. Unable to capture photos... 😶

Bongawan river boasts a pristine mangrove area offering wide varieties of Sabah's vegetation and endemic wildlife.

Embark on a scenic boat ride passing through the rustic villages and lush mangrove forest, in search of Borneo's wildlife such as Proboscis Monkeys, Long-tailed Macaques, Silver Langur, River Otters, Monitor Lizards, and many more.

The driving distance from Kota Kinanalu is about 1.5 hours to reach here.

The boat ride takes about 45 minutes round trip and back to jetty for early dinner.
