Itinerary description
South Louisiana Kayak Adventures created this trip from Henderson Louisiana to the boat launch in Butte Larose. Just under 9 miles and 5.5 hrs in the water. There were 4 kayaks with us on this trip. It was a hot day but everyone had a wonderful time. It's a great paddle but be careful on the return trip. We did cross a few wide channels to get back and had to be aware of boat traffic. There was alot of boats out on this beautiful Saturday. Butte Larose is a great stopping point for lunch. Stay hydrated, bring a blue tooth speaker and enjoy your paddle!
