Itinerary description
The launch is near the east end of the SR 92 Bridge at Goodland. There's a clear area on the south side for parking and a ramp down to the water's edge that's driveable as long as you stop before going into the water (just joking). The launch is fairly flat and easy. There's no fee and the area is well used.
This trail goes west, then north under the bridge up the Big Marco River and farther north take the right fork up Turtle Creek. There are openings on both sides of the creek that go into lake systems, some of which are fairly complex and most of which require higher tides to navigate.
The Big Marco River can get choppy in high winds.
