Itinerary description
Launched at Tropical Point Park to the opening of Pine Island Creek, followed the creek past the bridge on Pine Island rd where mangroves became too tight. Fabulous trip open water for 1 1/2 miles then the creek narrows lush scenery, mangrove tunnels and lakes. Side trip on the way back through a shady wide mangrove tunnel. Bonus we saw a Sawfish at the boat launch when we returned
