Itinerary description
Third and final trail of our three trail day. Launched out of swimming area, which can only be done in off-season. Short paddle out to the islands, around to the bridge by the visitor's center.
Have to watch the weather on the lake as winds can pick up out of nowhere and get you in trouble. Today's winds were no issue. We were running out of time so we decided to pull out along the shoreline next to the TENTRR access road. Short overland portage to our vehicle and campsite.
Watch out for the power boats as this is a world renowned bass fishing lake.
