Itinerary description
Tick AND Tot are two pleasant little Islands on Weller Pond. Weller Pond is accessible from the Saranac Lakes chain. Tot is small and camping is not allowed. Tock is roughly three times larger and camping is allowed but must be reserved through ReserveAmerica.com, there is a fee. It is a popular spot and a few months are needed to reserve. Fire wood must be gathered from the surrounding mainland. New York prohibits firewood transportation from more than 35 miles, to help mitigate the Asian Longhorn beetle invasion.
