Itinerary description
Working a partial week in VA and found a great way to meet local paddlers! Met up with Bill and he not only loaned me a boat, but took me on a tour of Thalia Creek out toward Lynnhaven River and back before I had to catch a flight back to chilly NH.
We had a couple hours of great paddling with the tide both ways and had a blast. He shared a lot of local history and knowledge as we paddled and I can't wait to get my chance to pay it forward and giving some visitors a paddle tour of my happy places too.
