Itinerary description
Lovely two day river paddle.
Free parking at the launch site, free parking at the end (we had two vehicles).
Most people do this in hire canoes. But we were driving north to Norway with sea kayaks and camping gear. This is a fun way to break the trip.
The campsite we used is official and free (with a toilet block and rubbish bin), there are other campsites on the route, but most are on private land and you are supposed to pay if you use them.
You must get a permit to do this, in summer 2023 it cost 125 Danish kroner per boat.
You request them from Benth Micho Lange, mobile +45 20673717 email benth.micho@gmail.com, at least 4 days before your paddle date. He met us at the car park to give us our permits!
