Itinerary description
Ideal route for bioluminescence paddle. Start by heading to bird rookery island in Rookery Bay. Watch birds land for the evening until about 20 minutes after sunset.. Head up Stopper Creek several meanders as the sky grows darker and darker. Go when the moon will not be up for at least two hours after sunset. Moonlight, and streetlights reflected off clouds will greatly reduce bioluminescence visibility.
